Wealth vs. Reputation
?Proverbs 22:1 ESV
[1] A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.
?This proverb draws a sharp contrast: a good name vs. riches, and favor vs. precious metals (what we call wealth today).
?In my recent post, I shared how Jesus—our ultimate role model—grew in favor with both God and man. As believers, our daily goal is to become like Him through and through. But that requires active transformation, not just passive listening.

The Mirror Test

[23] For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. [24] For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.
?In my career, I’ve been privileged to serve in roles where I judge and evaluate people’s character. From that experience, I can tell you this with absolute certainty: A good character opens supernatural doors!
?The marketplace is desperately looking for people with outstanding integrity. When we yield to the Holy Spirit, we exhibit the exact extraordinary fruit that the world needs right now.
