The first house we owned had so many trees; the previous owner was a keen gardener, but none of the trees were fruit trees. They were beautiful and magnificent to look at, but they were not fruitful. I like a fruit tree; fruit trees can be both beautiful and nourishing!
In the Bible passage above, Jesus cursed the tree because there was no fruit even though it was not the season to bear fruit!
As Christians, no matter what season we are in, it’s a season to bear fruit! Difficult times sometimes are a time of training, discipline, maturing e.t.c and the testimonies and lessons that come from it can yield fruit beyond our wildest imagination. Someone is always watching how we handle difficult seasons. Let them know Jesus is our strength!

To bear fruit, we need to water our tree (our soul) with the word of God and pursue the Light – God – His Son Jesus, with all our heart; producing fruits, as we stir ourselves through the leading of the Spirit.
Be fruitful; the world needs our produce!
“[12] On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He was hungry. [13] Seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if He would find anything on it. But He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. [14] He said to it, “No one will ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening [to what He said].
