On the 8th of July 2009, my father went to be with the Lord. I moved to Coventry the following year, joined a church, and got married. I left home at 18, so my dad, though present in my life, I saw him less because of distance. I left home for the UK; he lived in Nigeria.

Fatherhood is an institution created by God, and every soul on earth has to come through a man’s seed.
The sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross for you and me meant that that equation changed, and He who is fatherless, motherless, and orphaned finds refuge and comfort from the Body of Christ.
I had an encounter with Jesus Christ when I gave my life to Him. But I have also had an encounter with the body of Christ—the Church!
