Motivate me to be better -
I thank God every day I wake up next to my lovely wife. Well, should I say most days

. Sometimes we go to bed having argued but we are quick to apologise and bring our marriage back to a place of peace.
For me, the decision to get married wasn’t easy. At the time Niki was an International student and I’ve been working as a pharmacist with a considerable amount of loan to pay back.
Even though both our us could live on my income, by nature or nurture I thought it would look foolish to get married but deep down I knew it was the right thing to do.
I got to know
Ben McCosker and
Charlotte McCosker whilst Niki and I were dating, at the time Ben was a student studying law, now an accomplished lawyer. Charlotte was a schoolteacher. Ben is a year older than me. As I looked at their marriage I knew they were living the life I wanted to live and seeing their marriage was one of the deciding factors for me to ask Niki to be my wife. A decision I am grateful I made by seeing friends who motivated me to do better.
??1 Corinthians? ?15:33? ?ESV??
[33] Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
??Proverbs? ?13:20? ?NLT??
[20] Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.
I want to be that person who shares my success with my friends to make them do better and my mistakes so they can avoid the same pitfalls. Our friendships can make us or break us.
