Your significance is not in your similarity

In most areas we’ve lived in, our neighbours know us as Niki & B, Niki and Bo, or Niki & her husband. I am very comfortable with these titles

. (Follow me; the point of this post is not about the pronunciation of my name

).
You see, my wife is unique. You’ll struggle to be like her and trust me, she’ll struggle to be like you! We are all unique and have something incredible about us.
Because of how Niki is, most of the close friends we’ve had since we’ve been married are because of her. I get dragged along, but there comes a point in those relationships that it clicks for me, and when I’m in, I’M IN! I can’t begin to express my gratitude for these amazing friendships over the years, and I am certain most of these friendships won’t exist if my wife is not the way she is.
I have a very good friend who loves jigsaw puzzles. She gets a lot of satisfaction when the piece is complete. I’m sure if you ask her, she’ll tell you each piece of the jigsaw has its place. The place of a jigsaw puzzle is not to be isolated but to be connected to other pieces finding their rightful place.
1 Corinthians 12:25-26 MSG
[25-26] The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part is dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.
Figure out your part, and actively play your part.
