"Mum and Dad have had a look"—Parental guidance! #lovingyourself

A friend of mine alerted me to a situation they became aware of. When they told me about it, my brain went into overdrive as to how we could sort the issue out. When I communicated my thoughts with them, they came back to me sounding calm and collected because their mum and dad were aware of the situation.

I lost my dad over 16 years ago, but I have been so blessed to have parental figures throughout my adult life and even till now. My parents were parents to many people, so I am sure that I reaped and am reaping from the seeds they have sown in other people’s lives.

There is an experience that comes with age that "youthful strength" can never accomplish. This experience is free for whoever would submit themselves in humility to the experience of life.

You might not have your parents around you, but God in His wisdom has put people around you to act like parents. It is your job to seek them out, build that relationship, and yield yourself to the wisdom that comes from their mouth and their life.
