As a parent I am training myself to be careful how I speak to my wife and children. I have found this ongoing training. I have found I need to be careful with my words when I’m angry. I apologise to my family when I realise I’ve missed the mark.

God used His words to create the Earth

Life sometimes can take us through dark places and seasons. The words we say to ourselves in every season of life are important and creative. Our words can take away dark sessions and bring light!

Let me remind you of some of the words over your life as a Christian. These promises can be yours too but you need to first come to Christ!

Jeremiah 29:11:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Joshua 1:9:

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Matthew 11:28-29:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Isaiah 41:10:

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

2 Corinthians 1:20
