It has been clinically proven that people in depression find it difficult to socialise. In some cases when in this phase, you find waking up difficult. When the sun comes out, you immediately want to draw the blind so you can go back to sleep.
I have come across so many people who feel that people get repulsed by the good they do. When you see someone do things that go beyond the ordinary, know that they are doing it because they have something that has urged them to do it or is propelling them to do it.
Sometimes when these people get the feeling of people being repelled by them, they are tempted to hide in their shells, and unfortunately, I think that is a great loss to humanity.
This reminds me of the words of Jesus—Matthew 5:14-16 NLT.
[14]“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15] No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. [16] In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
