Authority is given by the one who is superior, but there are "matters of the throne" that the one under the authority does have the power to influence. We as believers have been given authority to reign because of Jesus ( Luke 10:19).
Hebrews 4:16 AMP
[16] Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
The only person that walked on the surface of the earth without a weakness is Jesus Christ – being fully God and fully man, he lived a life without sin and became sin so you and I can have access to the THRONE of GRACE.
Forgiveness is at the throne of grace; healing is at the throne of grace; favour is at the throne of grace and much more!
We are encouraged to enter the throne of grace with confidence! Why? Because of the finished work of Christ. Because we are now royal through Christ, we can speak to our Father with confidence.
God has made provision for our failures because He knew us even before you and I accepted the call to be His children.
We shouldn’t let our past hold us back; we are called to be those who Reflect, Repent and then Realign ourselves with The KING of kings . Our father says come to the throne of grace because you’ve been made royal!
