For almost 40 years of my existence on earth, I’ve never had a plaster of my skin colour on my skin. It is something that never crossed my mind, I can’t ever remembering thinking it will be nice to have one my skin colour. Whenever I needed a plaster, I just used whichever one was available to me.
I had a minor cut today and my wife put a plaster on it. It was similar colour to my skin! I cannot begin to explain the kind of positive emotions that overcame me when I saw this against my skin.

Friends, representation does matter, and I am grateful that my children won’t even think of writing something like this in their life time because someone sorted this - representation makes society richer!
