Scared by my own shadow

I love going for morning walks and as the dark winter mornings draw in, I have been using my phone as a torchlight. Usually, when I go on these walks there isn’t anybody around because it’s very early in the morning.
This incident made me remember the term I heard several years ago in a management training session called THE SHADOW OF A LEADER
The shadow of the leader refers to the influence a leader may have on their team, because of their behaviours, actions and leadership style.
A hands-on manager will birth a hands-on team. A lazy manager will birth a lazy team. A grumpy manager will have a demotivated team and an optimistic manager will have a productive team.
