Patience is a virtue that forces deception to reveal itself-

I have been reflecting on this quote and it has been thought-provoking.

Thought-provoking in the sense that it made me think of myself and my relationships.

Myself: We all sometimes have an ideal or things we aspire to and any delays resulting in us not being able to carry out our heart desires can cause a lot of frustration but for me, I have found this quote to be a good indicator I.e if it is a genuine desire, the delay might make me disappointed but the desire will still very much alive but if it fizzles away, the delay has made me realise I wasn’t keen on it but excited at the time!

People: The quote can help us judge the characters of people around us. I always admire people who remain consistent and true to their nature over time. It takes discipline, commitment and hard work- (internally) to be that person!

I was reminded of this verse recently and I think it encapsulates what I’m trying to say

Proverbs 19:2 AMP
