The quote above was made by my aunty when she read a recent post I made. You know, she is 100% correct!
What is Mercy?- an event to be grateful for, because it prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering. God shows me and has shown me mercy.
There is a guy in the scriptures called Mephibosheth -( The name right
)He was lame (crippled). In those days, that was a death sentence, i.e. You’ll have no status in society. We read that he had an encounter with "THE KING" and his story changed. He eats with the King for the rest of his life. (Ref 2 Saml chpt 4 and Chpt 9)
That story is an illustration of my life and our lives. Before we come to know Christ, we are born Spiritually lame and have no status, but an Encounter with Christ changes our destiny.
My destiny has been changed both here on earth and in the afterlife. The challenges I have faced and was born with mean I should be undeserving of the things I’ve enjoyed and am enjoying. But He showed me mercy!
