I remember listening to someone who used to work in a bank, and they talked about the vetting needed to hold certain positions within the organisation. As a pharmacist, I keep the keys to my controlled drugs cabinet securely. Access is only allowed to trusted colleagues.
The story about talent in the Bible is about being trusted stewards. (Matthew 25 vs 14-30)

There is a need in every human being to be better and move to a higher position in life, but the way to do that in the Kingdom of God is by being trusted.
Can your spouse trust you with the family finances?
Can your church trust you to turn up for the responsibility you’ve signed up for?
God’s will is to prosper us, but He needs to TRUST us.
Matthew 6:33 AMP
[33] But first and most importantly, seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
