Thank you all for your encouragement
Thank you all for your encouragement in the way of comments, messages, and calls through my postings. Much appreciated! I will carry on
#lovingyourself for the rest of January. In Feb 2025 I want to take some time to talk about
#Kingdomculture
I was born Yoruba, and that will never change despite some of my friends making fun of my Yoruba. I’m sad to say I’m not now as fluent for so many reasons, but I’m fixing that!

. I am married to a lady from southern Kaduna in Nigeria. She is Bajju by tribe and left Nigeria for the UK when she was 16! I consider myself Bajju by affiliation

.
I am British by naturalisation. I left Nigeria at 18, and I have lived in the UK ever since. I had my first job in the British culture. I met my wife in the British culture. We became parents to two amazing human beings in the British culture. At this point in our lives, our parenting years experience is 18 years (adding the ages of our children). I still live, earn my living, and do most things that pertain to this earthly life in British culture.
Despite this rich exposure to these cultures in my life, I have uncovered so many weaknesses in our earthly cultures. It has challenged me personally as to how I live my life and the cultural values I want to align with.
Jesus was talking to some geezers called Pharisees and scribes, and he used the word culture 5 times in so many verses (MARK 7 Vs 1-13 - NKJV)

I believe culture is good and enriching, but the culture we keep and adopt is important to God. Come with me as we discuss #kingdomculture
in February!
