Pride is a very dangerous disease
"Pride is a very dangerous disease that can turn your talent, asset, and achievements into a handicap".
#lovingyourself (PART 1)
I have been so blessed to work in the community pharmacy section in the UK for a long time—since I was a student! As a community pharmacist from day 1 on the job (in most cases), you become a leader of people (manager).
As part of the job, you can have a supervisory role in taking people through different levels of training: NVQ2 and NVQ3. I have done a number of these over the years, and for me, as part of the training, we train your character for the job too!
It’s easy for people to gain any qualification, but training the character is a tough task! Some colleagues get irritated by me, but I won’t relent because I know when the character is sorted, this happens:
The colleague complains less about customers and other colleagues, meaning their productivity increases because they get more compliments from the customers and colleagues, and they feel good in themselves because they know they are doing the job well. And as for the business—more foot traffic = more sales! As for the manager. Less stress in sorting squabbles

. Everyone wins!
Pride is a very dangerous disease
“Everyone who is proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting and exceedingly offensive to the Lord; Be assured he will not go unpunished.
”
–
Proverbs 16:5 AMP
In summary
Pride and arrogance in the heart can only be judged by God.
I don’t want to know what being "disgusted" and "exceedingly offensive" to God looks like. I wish, I hope, and pray I never know!
